The Ivel Tractor

The World's Oldest, Working, Internal Combustion Tractor
Dan Albone, the inventor of this unique agricultural motor, literally set in motion a revolution in mechanical farming, a decade ahead of Henry Ford and Harry Ferguson. His premature death in 1906 robbed the industry of a brilliant engineer. Nominated n 1903, the Ivel was awarded the Silver Medal the following year, and went on to win a further 36 gold and silver awards around the world.
