What exactly do Biggleswade Sandy Lions do?

The motto of the Lions is "WE SERVE", 

and we serve our local community in the following ways by providing:

 

We organise Fundraising Events such as:

*          Concerts

*          Book Stalls

*          Stands at Fairs and Fetes

*          Christmas Sleigh Runs

*          Car Boot Sales

*          Social Events

*          Assistance at Local Events

Who we help…

*          Local Clubs and Youth Groups

*          Village Care Schemes

*          Hospices

*          Local Charities

*          Individuals – via club support and sponsorship

*          We usually deliver around 250 food parcels to people who are alone or in need  at Christmas

*          Organise entertainment for the elderly and needy

*          Organise outings for disadvantaged children

*          Provide medical alert aids to assist the Emergency Services should the need arise.
